It is amazing what one or two people can accomplish when they have the skill and the drive to create something fun and unique. Crazy Justice is one such accomplishment, being made by two Hungarian brothers from Black Riddles Studios. This 3rd person shooter is currently in a closed beta for their multiplayer, but even at an early stage, it has pretty much everything that makes an arena shooter like this fun. Destructible environments so you can shape the battlefield and get the jump on your opponents or create a quick escape for yourself. Fast-paced combat so there is never a dull second when you are on the battle field fighting for either an objective or just racking up the kills. Power weapon pick-ups. Who doesn’t love walking around a blind corner with a bazooka into a group of enemies only to blow them all away or take them out at a distance with a high powered sniper rifle. Cover based combat, so you can duck down to keep your head from being blown off or to ambush an enemy, but you would need to be careful as they could also doing the same thing to you.
They have several multiplayer modes up for the beta currently. They have Crushing, which is your standard team deathmatch with a selection of either 8v8, 6v6, or 4v4 setups. Another is called Capture the Tesla, where teams battle over key positions that are signified by a tesla. Holding the tesla means that your team will gain points while the enemy team loses points and vise versa, which makes for a fantastic game of tug-o-war. The last is called The Devastator, where one team of 8 are leading a massive machine, appropriately called The Devastator, to The Temple of Osiris so they can bust in while the other team is trying to destroy the four tesla coils that are powering the shield that is protecting the machine. This heavy objective mode calls for a lot of teamwork and tactics as you are either defending or attacking. With just these three modes, there is a ton of fun and excitement to be had and creates anticipation for further updates and the release as it is said that they should have a full story mode where you can go it alone or with a friend in co-op. Customizable characters, weapons, and traits for your character. It will be released for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and for the PC and will also have cross platform play, so there is no need to worry if your friend has a different console or doesn’t even have one. With all of there is currently, and all there is to come, it makes Crazy Justice one to keep an eye out for in the future.
Played it? We’d love to know what you thought about it.
