News came out that iDracula: Genesis is accepting beta sign ups! A top-down isometric roguelike twin-stick shooter that’s set in a combined universe of magic and “post-apocalyptic ultra-modern weapons and device” which, well I don’t know what’s going with that universe but it looks great as far as I can tell.
The game’s main shtick is that you’ll be able to switch between widely different weapons and devices in real-time, as the developers describe the game as a mix of The Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne.
With an awesome pixel art style and my love for Isometric-style games, you’ll enjoy the game’s procedural generations, upgradeable weapons, spells and gadgets etc. As well as the inclusion of Permadeath of course. You’ll also be able to upgrade your weapons with different powers, with “billions” of possible combinations to play around with. There’s also multiple heros to choose from with unique perks and special abilities.
Played it? We’d love to know what you thought about it.
