When the developers say the game’s story is weird, it’s probably really weird. The Long Reach is an episodic 2D adventure intricate puzzle horror game with a fantastic pixel art style, and generally a great atmosphere with a very interesting story to tell.
aside from general environmental interactions, where you’ll need to find and work out you’re attacker’s personal horrors, where you’ll find them walking around, mumbling to themselves and sometimes yelling, you’ll pretty much go running and trying to hide from them as you piece things together. If there’s one thing the game gets right, it’s the batshit crazy story and how it’s presented.
